Vince Coleman
Mr. Coleman was a dispatcher in the municipality of Halifax at the time of the explosion. He gave his life to warn a train that was coming towards Halifax the morning of the explosion. Whether or not he succeeded to warning the train is unsure. Some sources state that the train had already passed the last train station but was running late and that's why there's was little injuries to the passengers. Other sources state that the dispatcher did alert the train station on time and that's why 600 peoples lives were saved. (Conlin.2003) Unfortunately, Vince died during the explosion.
